As part of our core value of transparency, we’d like to disclose our three-part interview process, so that candidates have a good understanding on what to expect in the recruitment and selection process. Our interview process is divided in three main interviews: an initial Microsoft Teams/phone interview with People Operations, a technical interview, and a peer-interview.
You’ll be offered an initial interview held over Microsoft teams or phone. This first step in the interview process we try to understand the candidate’s background, experience, and aspirations. Candidates that meet our criteria, will be offered a technical interview.
The technical interview provides the technical team more information and insights of your experience in the role you are applying for. A skillset matrix and assessment are used to understand your current and future skillset. In this 45-minute technical interview, the team will assess how candidates meet technical requirements and invite candidate to a final interview if they are successful.
During this interview, you have the opportunity to meet members from our teams. It provides a platform to ask any questions to Button peers but also to assess how you will be successful at Button and in our company culture.

After successful completion of the 3 interviews, candidates will have a final discussion regarding an offer, working arrangements and any special needs required by the candidate. All our offers are conditional to satisfactory reference and background checks.
Our final conversation is a 2-way conversation, and we love taking the time to make our candidates feel confident and comfortable with the offer but also with the new journey they will embark with us.
