Shon is a senior full stack developer with 25 years of experience consulting for large companies such as ABB Engineering, CN Canada, General Motors, and Pfizer Inc. With years of riding the waves of technological change, Shon has hands-on experience with many different technologies and is always keen to adopt the next new tech solution. Joining Button in 2022, Shon has aspirations to build Button solutions that create ripple-to-wave changes for positive environmental impact.
Shon's happy place is at the family cottage, filled with a menagerie of dogs, cats, and chickens, as well as siblings, niblings, and friends. Happiest surfing behind the boat, Shon also enjoys playing ukulele and travelling Canada in a Skoolie named Ralphie. Living life in the spirit of "get-give", "learn-teach", and "have-fun", Shon volunteers time as a soccer coach and as a tech advisor for the Champions for Life Foundation, helping children enjoy movement and reap the personal and social benefits of athleticism.
