Today's Feature is Dylan Leard!
Dylan is a full-stack developer at Button and has been with the team since April 2019. He grew up in Victoria playing baseball and hockey on the Saanich Peninsula (he still plays today, just much slower!).
He has two cats, Scout and Cheddar, who like to interrupt his meetings by climbing up the back of his desk chair or meowing loudly.
Dylan took a winding path to becoming a software developer. He graduated from BCIT’s Radio Broadcasting Program in 2010 and worked as a radio DJ at a rock station for several years before deciding to switch careers. He graduated from UVIC in 2018 and has been enjoying working as a software developer where he gets to learn new things and solve puzzles every day.
