Your Mandate
We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer, specialized in climate-focused technology, to join a network of experts who are passionate about social good and want the opportunity to have impact in their work. As we’re awarded climate action projects, you will have an opportunity to join an agile team to build reliable digital services. We’re interested to hear from developers who are enthusiastic about mentorship, continuous learning, and have in-depth expertise on topics such as data science, visualization, math, policy – or whatever makes you tick– we’d love to hear about it.
You’ll get a chance to apply your past experience in climate-related work, whether it’s greenhouse gas methodologies, climate policy, GIS, or environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG). This unique role will apply both your technical skills and your experience combatting climate change.
Your Responsibilities
1. Iteratively construct applications in a test-driven environment, following DevOps best practices.
2. Handle a complex front-end and back-end environment.
3. Work with designers to translate user research into requirements that feed into prototype development.
4.Help to create an accessible, clean, and interactive user experience.
Your Background
We’re excited to hear from Full Stack Developers who have worked on previous climate-focused projects or have experience with relevant technologies.
